ChatGPT Chrome extension can now read and control browser tabs

Giving ChatGPT visibility into browser tabs expands agentic browsing to consumers.

With OpenAI's ChatGPT Chrome extension installed, ChatGPT can now view your open browser tabs when you tag Chrome in the ChatGPT web or desktop app, letting it gather information and complete tasks.
