ChatGPT Chrome extension can now read and use your open tabs

Extends ChatGPT's agentic browsing from its own Atlas browser into the browser most people use.

OpenAI upgraded ChatGPT's Chrome extension so it can view the browser tabs you already have open and help complete tasks. Once installed, users tag Chrome in ChatGPT's web or desktop app and ask it to compare or summarize pages.
