Meta releases open-weight Muse Spark Open, Apple to run it on Macs

A frontier lab releasing a large open-weight multimodal MoE shifts the open-model frontier and puts agentic coding weights in public hands.

Meta released Muse Spark Open, an open-weight frontier multimodal mixture-of-experts model for agentic coding with a 1M-token context window. It is live on Together AI and Meta is working with Apple to run it on Macs.
