Meta releases Muse Spark Open, an open-weight multimodal MoE model

A frontier open-weight model keeps Meta competitive with Chinese open labs while its best models stay closed.

Muse Spark Open is Meta's open-weight frontier multimodal mixture-of-experts model for agentic coding, running with a 1M-token context on Together AI's serverless and dedicated infrastructure. Apple is working with Meta to run it on Macs.
