OpenAI raises $11B at $1.25T valuation, plans to keep expanding data centers

One of the largest private fundings ever, valuing OpenAI at $1.25T as it doubles down on compute.

Bloomberg reports OpenAI completed an $11 billion funding portion at a $1.25 trillion valuation. Its CFO told CNBC the company will press ahead with data-center expansion despite a midterm election sweep.
