Amazon lets some users text Alexa for Shopping

Moves agentic shopping from voice to a text interface amid rival Walmart's push.

Amazon's AI shopping agent Alexa for Shopping can now be used by texting. A subset of customers gets it today, with the texting option rolling out across the US in coming weeks.
