Nvidia completes $1B payment, takes over 4% stake in Naver

Nvidia deepens a Korean AI factory foothold amid sovereign compute competition.

Nvidia finalized a $1B payment and acquired over 4% of Naver, which is preparing to launch an Nvidia-backed AI factory after an infrastructure deal with Brookfield worth up to $9B. Nvidia also added Korea's JNTC to its glass substrate supplier list.
