METR: AI use may have doubled Anthropic's R&D pace

External evidence that AI is now accelerating frontier AI research itself.

METR's independent assessment finds Anthropic's models are improving roughly twice as fast as in March 2024–October 2025, suggesting internal AI use may have doubled the company's development speed.
