Tencent releases Hy4 open-weight model

A major Chinese lab claims top-tier open-weight performance with vision and computer use.

Tencent launched Hy4, a foundation model it says joins China's top tier of open-weight AI systems, with vision and computer-use capabilities. Tencent is also reportedly preparing a consumer AI search engine.
