Tencent launches Hy4 open-weight model to rival DeepSeek, Alibaba

Adds a major Chinese lab to the open-weight race with DeepSeek and Qwen.

Tencent released Hy4, an open-weight AI model aimed at breaking into the top tier of open models alongside DeepSeek, Z.ai and Alibaba's Qwen. One report says Astra fine-tuned Qwen weights for longer reasoning.
