Apple opens Siri AI to third-party apps in iOS 27.3 beta

Opening Siri to third-party apps turns Apple's assistant into a platform for app actions, a key step in the voice-agent race.

Apple said developers can now integrate Siri AI's new features into all apps, letting the assistant act across third-party services using a user's personal context and natural-language requests. It arrives in the iOS 27.3 update, with iPadOS 27.3 adding camera-app support.
