ADNOC, G42 sign deal with OpenAI during Altman's UAE visit

Ties frontier AI deeper to Gulf energy and sovereign compute partners.

Abu Dhabi's ADNOC and G42 signed agreements with OpenAI to deploy frontier AI, with ADNOC saying its ENERGYai would incorporate OpenAI models. Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed met Sam Altman as Altman visited the UAE to sign energy and investment deals.
