Apple launches Apple Intelligence in China with Alibaba's Qwen

Brings Apple's AI suite to its second-largest market through a local model partner.

Apple Intelligence arrives in China via an iOS 27.3 beta on November 4, with Alibaba's Qwen powering features; full release is scheduled for December, and paid tiers are said to be planned for 2027.
