Apple acquires agentic AI engineering startup Ascend.io

Apple is buying AI infrastructure talent as it builds out its own agentic tooling.

Apple acquired Ascend.io, a startup building agentic AI engineering and data pipeline automation tools. AGIBOT separately introduced its Worken framework for measuring robot productivity.
