Foxconn pitches end-to-end AI hardware, confirms OpenAI tie-up talks

Foxconn is positioning itself as a full-stack AI infrastructure builder, not just an assembler.

At Hon Hai Tech Day, chairman Young Liu said Foxconn's strengths are processing and vertical integration, moving beyond box assembly. Foxconn and Google aim to cut AI infrastructure deployment to six months; an OpenAI tie-up is in the works.
