Nvidia in talks to backstop Nscale's $45B Anthropic data center

Vendor-backed credit for AI cloud capacity shows how chipmakers are financing the buildout.

Nvidia is in talks to provide credit guarantees for Nscale debt to develop a 460MW data center Anthropic plans to use; no deal is signed. Nvidia also plans a $1B investment in Naver, and Anthropic is reported as SpaceX's largest customer.
