Moonshot AI launches Kimi K3.1 Pro, plans full weights release

A new frontier Chinese model with promised open weights intensifies the open-model race.

Moonshot AI released Kimi K3.1 Pro, its first major upgrade since its DeepSeek moment, and plans to release full model weights by November. The Kimi app is at version 3.2.20 for macOS, Windows and Linux.
