Nvidia expands Kazakhstan AI compute, robotaxi plans with Pony.ai

Nvidia's country-scale compute deal shows the geopolitics of AI infrastructure widening beyond the US and China.

Nvidia is expanding GPU deployments in Kazakhstan, moving the country's AI stack from plans to deployment across infrastructure, models and applications. Uber rival inDrive eyes 2027 robotaxi tests in Central Asia with Pony.ai and Nvidia. Huang's visit drew a reported $10B AI commitment.
