Coordinated state litigation could force changes to consumer AI safety practices and disclosure.

Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, West Virginia, Arkansas, Arizona, Idaho and Montana filed separate lawsuits accusing OpenAI of harming children and misleading users about ChatGPT's safety.
